The playful factor as an educational resource allows the development of behaviours and skills in students. Consequently, Year 9 students taking Spanish at our school saw themselves engaged in a classroom scavenger hunt.
Students were assigned to three groups and each one of them had eight question cards to solve. Topics presented had two common factors: culture and everyday life situations. The hunt itself was a learning experience in reasoning, cooperation and following clues in the target language. All of the students got up from their seats, excited about learning and remained focused on the content taught during past lessons.
