Safer Internet Day 2023 which will take place on Tuesday, 7 February 2023. Significantly, it will be the 20th edition of the campaign!
At our school we will be promoting safer internet day and showing the video below during all our ICT C3 lessons that will run for the week starting 6th February. This will help further promote Internet safety which is also covered as part of the ICT C3 syllabus when students are in Year 9.
In fact during their ICT C3 lessons students cover topics such as Cyberbullying and how to tackle a cyberbullying incident, sextortion, to think before sharing anything online, internet cybersecurity amongst other topics teaching our students how to always remain vigilant and safe online.
