Mystery Solved! Year 11 Chemists Turn Detectives!
Our Year 11 Chemistry students have been hard at work in the lab on a Qualitative Analysis Investigation. Qualitative analysis is a technique used to identify unknown chemicals through observations such as colour changes; gas and precipitate formation. Through flame tests and test-tube reactions, our students successfully worked out the identity of four unknown chemicals (A, B, C, D).
