On Friday, 24th October 2025, the Trident Park Conference Hall in Mrieħel was the venue for the Erasmus+ and European Solidarity Corps Grant Award Ceremony 2025, an event dedicated to celebrating achievements and the far-reaching impact of projects supported under these EU programs.
The ceremony brought together beneficiaries and stakeholders to reflect on the success of initiatives that have strengthened education, inclusion, and solidarity within communities. Erasmus+ continues to be guided by four horizontal priorities: Inclusion and Diversity, Digital Transformation, Environment and the Fight against Climate Change, and Democratic Participation, all of which were highlighted throughout the evening.
Among the most memorable moments was the formal presentation of certificates to beneficiaries, recognizing their commitment to advancing these objectives. We were proud to see our Head of School honoured with the Grant Award; a testament to the dedication in implementing Erasmus+ project Stronger Schools, Brighter Futures: Transforming Education through Erasmus + Mobility. This initiative focuses on empowering educators through training that enhances well-being and strengthens digital and STEM skills within our institution.
The event also featured addresses by Jonathan Vassallo, Permanent Secretary within the Ministry for European Funds and the Implementation of the Electoral Programme, and Raphael Scerri, National Coordinator of EUPA, who emphasized the importance of collaboration and innovation in shaping a stronger, more inclusive Europe.
