Just before Easter Recess, our school had the pleasure of welcoming back one of its former students, Davinia Spiteri, who recently published her first book, Unspoken Words.

The visit was organised by the Student Council as to showcase the achievements of past students. Council members prepared thoughtful questions focusing on the author’s journey from school life to becoming a published writer. From the very beginning, it was clear that this session would be both inspiring and informative.

During the interview, Davinia spoke fondly about her time at our school, recalling favourite subjects, supportive teachers, and memorable experiences that helped shape her. The conversation then turned to the book itself. Unspoken Words is dedicated to her siblings and explores personal growth through a heartfelt collection about family, forgiveness, understanding, and love. “[…] Solitude is not emptiness; it is space. Space to dream, to reflect, and to grow into the person you are meant to be […]” Davinia also shared insights into the writing process, describing the challenges of drafting, editing, and finally seeing the book published.

The Student Council would like to thank Davinia Spiteri for taking the time to visit our school. Events like these remind us that success can start right here, within our school community.
