Urgent Update Regarding MATSEC Examination Schedule and Venues (29–30 May)
Following the official announcement of the General Election scheduled for 30 May 2026, the MATSEC Examinations Board wishes to inform all candidates of changes to the upcoming examination timetable and specific venue locations.
The following adjustments have been implemented to ensure the smooth conduct of examinations while accommodating national electoral requirements.
Friday, 29 May 2026:
All examinations scheduled for Friday, 29 May will proceed as originally planned; however, candidates assigned to the following locations must report to new venues:
- St Theresa College, Vincenzo Borg Brared Middle School Birkirkara Candidates: Candidates originally scheduled for St Theresa College, Vincenzo Borg Brared Middle School (Birkirkara) will now sit for their exams at St Ignatius College, Mikiel Anton Vassalli Secondary School, Tal-Ħandaq, Qormi.
- Maria Regina College, Żokrija Secondary School Candidates: Candidates scheduled for Maria Regina College, Żokrija Secondary School (Block Delta/Epsilon) will remain at the same school but will be shifted to Block Kappa/Sigma.
- Other Venues: All other examination venues remain unchanged.
Saturday, 30 May 2026:
Please be advised that no examinations will be held on Saturday, 30 May. All exams previously scheduled for this date have been moved to the following dates and times:
